Sigfrido Ranucci presents “Diary of a Trapeze Artist” in Mantua

The Teatro Sociale in Mantua hosts Sigfrido Ranucci in “Diary of a Trapeze Artist”, an intimate and resilient portrait of a journalist. The event, scheduled for April 2, 2026, offers a unique look at the Sigfrido Ranucci we don’t see on television, a man whose investigations have been deeply influenced by crucial choices.

Ranucci shares stories of decisive encounters: a vagabond who helps him uncover international scoops, a taxi driver who finds lost works of art, a producer who protects him from political traps. And also, a vice principal, a robber, a professor and a bodyguard, figures who have marked his professional and personal journey.

“I have learned that what defines a person’s destiny is not so much their qualities, but their choices,” says Ranucci, emphasizing how each encounter has left its mark, teaching him something, for better or worse. A unique opportunity to get to know the human side of a committed journalist, through an intense and engaging theatrical narrative in the splendid setting of Mantua.
