Something’s Wrong This Winter: Climate and the Future of the Mountains in Trento

A meeting in Trento to address a crucial issue: the future of the mountains in the face of climate change. On February 21st, at Spazio Ex Niccolini, experts will discuss the challenges that winter sports and tourism face due to climate transformations.

Elisa Palazzi, a climatologist from the University of Turin, Lorenzo Delladio, President of Confindustria, Umberto Martini, a professor from the University of Trento, and Dino Zardi, coordinator of the Meteorology Festival, will offer insights moderated by Sofia Farina, an atmospheric physicist and environmental journalist.

The event represents an opportunity to reflect on the implications of climate change and to seek sustainable solutions for the future of our mountains. An open dialogue to understand how to reconcile economic needs with the protection of the mountain environment.
