Sparasina Festival in Pigozzo: an ode to wild asparagus

The hamlet of Pigozzo, near Verona, is preparing to host the 38th edition of the Sparasina Festival. The event, scheduled for April 19, 25, 26 and May 1, 2026, will transform the central square into a lively stage dedicated to wild asparagus, a local delicacy.

The food stands will offer a wide variety of dishes, from the classic mix of wild herbs with sparasina, candelìne and ovi duri, to risotto with sparasina, not to mention porchetta and bruschetta, always with the unique touch of wild asparagus.

In addition to the taste, the festival will offer entertainment for all ages: magic shows with Mago Riccardo, circus animation with the Mobile Circus, walks in the woods to discover the surrounding nature and musical evenings with Noir Studio, Electric Dreams, La Banda di Montorio, PerBacco (Zucchero tribute band) and Contrada Lorì. There will be games, face painting, karaoke and a charity raffle. The Sparasina Festival is an opportunity to celebrate the authentic flavors of the area and spend days full of fun and conviviality.
