Hiking on Monte Valandro: An Immersion in the Nature of Banale

An unforgettable hike in the heart of the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park, on the Banale side. The route winds through wide meadows and steep slopes, following ancient paths that lead to solitary and beautiful places. Monte Valandro, affectionately called by locals “El mont de Stenech”, offers breathtaking views and an experience of peace and tranquility in contact with nature.

Starting from the picturesque village of Seo, follow the SAT 348 trail, going up the old mule track with the signs of time impressed on the pavement. The ascent, initially steep through sunny woods, softens once past the “Caputel de Vessa” and “I Salti”, opening onto the Valandro meadows. Leaving the 346 trail, continue towards Malga Valandro, recently restored, located in a green basin.

From Malga Valandro you can continue to Malga Asblez and the Agostini and Al Cacciatore refuges. The return takes place along the same route, offering the opportunity to admire the splendid panoramas again.
