On the Summit of Monte Stivo: A Panoramic Hike

Monte Stivo, a sentinel of Garda Trentino, offers a breathtaking panorama from its summit, embracing the lake and surrounding valleys. This hike quickly leads out of the woods towards the summit pastures, also visible from Basso Sarca.

Near Malga Stivo, encountering cows and horses adds a touch of charm to the experience. Monte Stivo dominates the area between Riva del Garda, Arco, and Torbole, an importance reflected in local sayings.

Near the refuge, a panoramic viewpoint indicates the surrounding peaks: from Monte Baldo to the Ledro Alps, from the Adamello glaciers to the Brenta Dolomites, up to the Little Dolomites and the Lagorai. A true spectacle!
