The Cellore d’Illasi Festival, a Tapestry of Flavors, Sounds, and Togetherness

For four days, Cellore d’Illasi comes alive with the anticipated return of its traditional Sagra, an event promising to envelop visitors of all ages in an atmosphere of celebration and discovery. From May 8th to 11th, 2026, the heart of the village will beat to the rhythm of music, gastronomic delights, and moments of genuine shared experience.

The culinary experience is, as always, one of the cornerstones of the Sagra. The numerous food stands, open every evening at the palatenda, will offer a journey through local flavors and inviting proposals. A special highlight on Friday evening will be a guided wine tasting dinner, where each label will be expertly paired with culinary creations, exploring the harmonious blend between the region’s organoleptic notes and responsible gastronomic artistry. On Monday evening, the offerings will be further enriched with cicchetti of sea and land, paella, and sangria, for an international-flavored finale.

Yet, the Cellore d’Illasi Sagra is much more than just an appointment with good food. It is a vibrant stage of music and entertainment. From the energetic performances of Yano Music Machine and evenings with DJs Tina, Antuan, and Ame, to the lively dances of Disco Inferno and the Hispanic folk music of Solera, every evening will have its unique soundtrack. Families will find their space for joy with the luna park, charity fishing, and the excitement of the “Battesimo della Sella” (Saddle Baptism), a unique opportunity for children to experience horseback riding for the first time. Sunday will be further enhanced with a Renaissance Lunch, a dive into history in collaboration with Veronautoctona, and the charm of the Majorettes Accademy VR-EST, whose brilliant choreographies and contagious smiles will engage everyone.
