The Feast of Our Lady of the Snow in Malcesine: an alpine tradition

On August 5th, Monte Baldo, near Malcesine, comes alive with the traditional Feast of Our Lady of the Snow. In Tratto Spino, the community gathers to celebrate this event with a Holy Mass at 11:00 AM at the picturesque alpine church.

The celebration then continues near the former Guardia di Finanza barracks, offering an opportunity for conviviality and sharing. The local alpine group “G.A.M.” organizes this event, which represents an important moment for the mountain community and for those who want to discover the traditions of Lake Garda.
