From December 15th to 19th, Verona hosts the play “Tre variazioni della vita” (Three Variations of Life) by Yasmina Reza at the Teatro Nuovo. This performance is part of the 28th edition of “DIVERTIAMOCI A TEATRO,” a series organized by the Municipality of Verona in collaboration with the Teatro Stabile di Verona – Centro di Produzione Teatrale.
The story follows two couples: astrophysicist Henri and his wife Sonia, and professor Hubert Finidori and his wife Inès. A seemingly quiet social gathering turns into an emotional battlefield after a sudden revelation, exposing hidden tensions and rivalries. The play’s structure is unique: the same evening is recounted through three different perspectives, challenging the audience’s perception of truth and human relationships through irony and unexpected twists.
