- 📍 Location: Galleria Civica
The city of Trento hosts a significant exhibition at the Galleria Civica from December 5, 2026, to February 28, 2027, featuring the works of sculptor Walter Moroder (Ortisei, 1963) and painter Marta Spagnoli (Verona, 1994).
The exhibition brings together two distinct artistic languages, both rooted in a deep understanding of non-European art, filtered through traditional Italian techniques: the wood sculpture of the Val Gardena school for Moroder and the Venetian-style tonal painting for Spagnoli.

In Moroder’s sculptures, the exploration of the human body intertwines with a meditation on existence, where abstract and universal figures suggest suspended time and silence. At this stage of his career, the artist reveals a new sense of restlessness and the omen of change.
Marta Spagnoli’s paintings reflect a constant tension between instinctive gesture and a contemplative dimension. Her work is characterized by the balance between chromatic intensity and vast areas of emptiness, a process where forms emerge spontaneously from the material, offering a rare vision in the contemporary landscape.
The event is organized by the Galleria Civica di Trento – Mart. The gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (closed on Mondays).
