Wilco at Mantova Summer Festival: An Unforgettable Evening at Palazzo Te

On September 1st, 2026, the city of Mantua prepares to host one of the most significant musical events of the year. Palazzo Te, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture, will serve as the backdrop for a concert by Wilco, the iconic band from the Chicago independent rock scene.

As part of the Mantova Summer Festival, the group led by Jeff Tweedy will present their “An Evening with Wilco” format. This special performance features two complete sets with no opening acts, designed to take the audience on a sonic journey spanning over thirty years of their career. From the tracks that defined their artistic path to more recent sounds from the album Cousin and the EP Hot Sun Cool Shroud, the lineup featuring Tweedy, Stirratt, Kotche, Sansone, Cline, and Jorgensen reaffirms their technical and creative prowess.

Attending this performance in such a prestigious historical setting is a rare opportunity for music enthusiasts. The intimate atmosphere and the focus on the repertoire allow for a profound connection between the artists and the audience, in a space where the beauty of the surroundings harmonizes with the depth of the music.
