A Saturday with the Sun on Monte Zugna

Spend an unforgettable afternoon at the Astronomical Observatory on Monte Zugna, just a few kilometers from Rovereto. Guided by experts from the Civic Museum, you can observe the sun through state-of-the-art telescopes and discover its secrets: sunspots, prominences, and spectrum.

The Astronomical Observatory, managed by the Rovereto Civic Museum Foundation, is equipped with several telescopes, including three under the main dome and one on the ground floor. Two of these instruments are specifically designed for daytime observation of the Sun. Learn to scan the sky and see our star with different eyes.

After the observation, you can complete the experience with a delicious snack at the Rifugio Monte Zugna, located just a short walk from the observatory. Choose between a sweet menu, with refuge desserts and juice, or a savory menu, with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by bread, focaccia, and a drink.

The activity is suitable for participants from 6 years old and up. Reservations are required by 5:00 PM on the previous day. In case of cancellation, the registration fee will be refunded.
