A Saturday with the Sun on Monte Zugna

A few kilometers from Rovereto, the Astronomical Observatory of Monte Zugna offers a unique experience to observe our star during the day. Accompanied by experts from the Rovereto Civic Museum Foundation, participants will have the opportunity to use specialized telescopes to study the Sun, discovering its features such as sunspots, prominences, and spectrum.

The activity takes place from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM on Saturday, April 18, May 23, June 27, July 18, August 22, September 26, and October 24, 2026. The activity is suitable for those aged 6 and up.

The cost of the experience is 9 euros per person. It is possible to enhance the day with a snack at the Rifugio Monte Zugna: the savory option, at a cost of 12 euros, includes a platter of cold cuts and cheeses with a drink, juice, or glass of wine, while the sweet option, at a cost of 7 euros, includes a homemade dessert with a drink. Registrations must be made by 5:00 PM on the day before the activity.
