A search for form: the sports photography of the Pedrotti brothers in Trento

The Palazzo delle Albere in Trento hosts an event celebrating Trentino sports photography. On Thursday, February 26, 2026, a dialogue between Luca Chistè and Gianni Zotta will explore the formal and technical dimension that characterized an extraordinary phase of this photographic genre. Chistè, after critically analyzing the original works of the Pedrotti brothers, created the Fine Art prints exhibited in the show. Zotta, with his long experience as a sports event photographer, will offer a further point of view. The meeting will focus on capturing movement, experimentation, and image construction. Participation is free, but reservation is required. Before the meeting, at 5:00 PM, a short guided tour of the exhibition is scheduled.
