A Village and its River: a celebration of history and traditions in Rovereto

In Rovereto, the village of Sacco is preparing to celebrate its history and its unbreakable bond with the Adige river. The event “A Village and its River”, now in its 25th edition, is a festival of stories, people and traditions that animates the heart of the historic center. From June 5th to 8th, the village turns into a lively stage, offering a program full of activities for all ages.

Art exhibitions, creative workshops for children, meetings with experts and guided walks alternate with delicious food and wine proposals. Music and theater resound in the charming courtyards of the buildings, creating a magical and engaging atmosphere. On Sunday 8 June, the banks of the Adige become the theater of the highly anticipated Palio delle Zattere, an exciting challenge between ten teams competing for victory along the stretch between Brancolino and the “moia”.
