Segantini dedicates an extraordinary exhibition, “Aerovita”, to the pioneer of Italian aviation, Gianni Caproni. This event, commemorating the 140th anniversary of his birth and the 70th of his passing, is an invitation to explore the fascinating interplay between technological innovation and 20th-century artistic expression.
“Aerovita. Futurist Aeropainting and Gianni Caproni: Machine, Aesthetics and Myth” offers an exhibition journey that goes beyond simple historical narration. Through over fifty works by Futurist masters such as Balla, Depero, Tato, Fillia, and Benedetta Cappa Marinetti, alongside historical documents and models, the exhibition portrays the myth of flight. It is a journey unfolding in five thematic sections, leading visitors from the early aviation feats to the more abstract and cosmic visions inspired by the sky.
