An Enchanted Evening at Forte Gisella: The World of Cipì Comes Alive

Forte Gisella, a location of evocative charm, extends a special invitation to families. On Thursday, August 27, 2026, the fort’s natural stage will host an event dedicated to the wonder of growth and discovery, inspired by the works of Mario Lodi. This will be an opportunity to connect through storytelling and play, in an atmosphere promising to captivate both young and old.

The evening will commence with a sensory workshop, “A Winter on the River,” drawn from the pages of Mathilde Tourbillon and Serena Mabilia. Children, aged 5 and above, will be guided through a physical and playful exploration of a river’s course. Together, they will construct an imaginary raft to navigate through adventures and surprises, experiencing an immersive journey that stimulates the senses and imagination. This shared voyage is designed for a maximum of 30 young explorers, lasting approximately one hour.

Following this, the performance of “Cipì” will come to life, an adaptation of Mario Lodi’s beloved tale. The revolutionary educator, with his profound vision, masterfully narrated the joys and challenges of growing up. This animated production blends fairytale images of the natural world with interactive moments, engaging the audience in a delicate and profound dialogue. The show is suitable for families with children aged 3 and above.

This event is part of “La città dei ragazzi 2026,” a rich program that annually brings quality cultural proposals for families to the city of Verona. Tickets are priced at 7€ (full), 4€ (reduced for children 3-12 years and accompanying persons with disabilities), 5€ for affiliated entities, and free for the youngest attendees (0-3 years and persons with disabilities).
