In Prada Bassa, in the municipality of Brenzone sul Garda, the traditional Ancient San Michele Cattle Fair returns. The event, scheduled from September 27th to 29th, celebrates local traditions with a varied program.
Activities begin on Sunday, September 27th, at 10:00 AM with the opening of the fair, markets, and workshops for children. At 11:00 AM, the third edition of the Transhumance will take place, a 600-meter walk where children will accompany the livestock to the fairgrounds. The day continues with food and wine stands, musical entertainment, and at 2:30 PM, the first edition of the friendly Morra game competition.

On Tuesday, September 29th, the day of San Michele, the livestock will be admitted at 8:00 AM, followed by the opening of the markets and the exhibition of zootechnical equipment at 8:30 AM. At 9:30 AM, the official examination of the livestock will be held. At 10:30 AM, Holy Mass will be celebrated at the church of San Bartolomeo, accompanied by Maestro Stefano Romani. After the service, food stands will open. At 12:00 PM, following the authorities’ greeting, the awards ceremony for the best livestock and young breeders will take place. Music will accompany the event throughout the day.
A shuttle bus service is available by reservation at the IAT office, with departures at 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM, and returns at 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
