Anniversari: a cycle of cultural meetings in Sommacampagna

The Municipality of Sommacampagna invites everyone to the “Anniversari” (Anniversaries) meeting cycle, an opportunity to reflect on events and figures that have left a significant mark on history. The meetings will be held at the Nuova Sala Civica in Sommacampagna and led by Professor Marino Rama.

The program includes three cultural sessions. The first meeting is dedicated to 1946 and the 80th anniversary of the first universal suffrage in Italy, which included the vote for Italian women. This will be followed by a focus on Umberto Eco, ten years after the passing of the renowned Italian philosopher, writer, and medievalist. Finally, the cycle will conclude with a tribute to Carlo Collodi, marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of the author of “The Adventures of Pinocchio”, with the meeting titled “Pinocchio is not a puppet. The adventure of life”.

The meetings are organized by the Department of Culture and Fair Events of the Municipality of Sommacampagna and will take place on November 20 and December 11 at 8:30 PM. Admission is free until all available seats are filled.
