Just a stone’s throw from the Valvestino sky, wrapped in the silence of Cima Rest, the evenings at the Astronomical Observatory return. From May 8th to October 10th, the Astronomical Observatory of Cima Rest in Magasa welcomes enthusiasts for an experience dedicated to the celestial vault.

The activity begins at dusk at the observatory. Guided by a speaker from the Association of Amateur Astronomers of Salò, participants will attend a theoretical introduction, followed by sky observation using the telescope. The setting is the unique landscape of Cima Rest, famous for its straw-roofed barns and the absolute silence of the mountains.

The activity takes place outdoors, lasts about two hours, and it is recommended to bring a flashlight and a jacket. In case of cloudy skies, it will still be possible to take part in the theoretical phase. The meeting point is at the Astronomical Observatory, which can be reached in about a 20-minute walk starting from the small church.
