Autumn MicrOrto in Rovereto: Workshop for Budding Gardeners

Explore the art of horticulture in small spaces with the ‘Autumn MicrOrto’ workshop in Rovereto. Held at Orto San Marco Setàp, this event is designed for those keen to cultivate their own green space, whether it’s a garden or a balcony.

Led by Tommaso Manfrini from Azienda Agricola MangioTrentino, participants will closely observe the circular garden’s cultivations and greenhouse vegetables, learning the secrets to starting a personal garden. The course focuses on the ideal times for sowing, transplanting, and fertilising, preparing the autumn garden from late July through November.

A special focus is dedicated to the soil: how to nourish it properly and how to divide the space, even the smallest ones. Attention then shifts to caring for the vegetables, with a focus on irrigation, essential in the summer months to ensure the well-being of the plants and their fruits.

The Azienda per il Turismo Rovereto Vallagarina e Monte Baldo provides further information. The course, lasting two mornings (July 22nd and 29th), costs €30 per participant and includes snacks with garden produce. An opportunity for adults and young people over 16 to discover the secrets of horticulture.
