BTS Green Cup: Sailing for Sustainability in Garda

On October 18th, the waters of Garda will host an event where sport meets environmental awareness. The BTS Green Cup, now in its third edition, returns to the lake for a day dedicated to protecting our delicate ecosystem.

Organized by BTS Biogas and the Italian Naval League, the event features a 12-nautical-mile regatta for monotypes and cruising boats. At the same time, recreational sailing enthusiasts can take part in a 5-nautical-mile sail, specifically designed for ‘white sails’, making the challenge accessible to families and casual sailors.

The initiative goes beyond mere competition. In collaboration with the Plastic Free association, a clean-up walk will take place, offering participants and the public a chance to contribute to the preservation of the landscape. It is a concrete gesture demonstrating that a passion for the lake must always be accompanied by a commitment to its conservation.
