Cantina dell’Arte: Vivallis Celebrates Depero in Rovereto

Cantina Vivallis in Nogaredo celebrated the art of Fortunato Depero, an iconic figure from Rovereto, with an event blending culture and fine wines. From March 26th to April 2nd, 2022, coinciding with the “Depero New Depero” exhibition at the Mart museum, the winery inaugurated a room dedicated to the artist, showcasing original tapestries from 1938 and installations by Gianni Filideu.

The highlight was Saturday, March 26th, with Vittorio Sgarbi illustrating Depero’s connection to the Vallagarina region. Afterwards, a gourmet buffet and tasting of Depero Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT and Depero Rosso Vallagarina Rosso IGT wines, tributes to the Rovereto genius, were offered. Depero Bianco, a blend of Chardonnay, Incrocio Manzoni, and Sauvignon, and Depero Rosso, a blend of Merlot and Lagrein, embody the aromas and flavours of the territory.

The exhibition was open from March 26th to April 2nd, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with free admission. A unique opportunity to discover the union of art and wine in the heart of Rovereto.
