Chestnut Festival in Castione di Brentonico: An Immersion in the Flavors of Monte Baldo

In the heart of the Brentonico Plateau, the village of Castione prepares to host the traditional Chestnut Festival. An unmissable event to celebrate marroni, a prized variety of chestnuts that has thrived in these lands for centuries, distinguished by their unmistakable flavor and superior quality.

The Circolo di Castione invites everyone to immerse themselves in a weekend of taste and tradition, among alleys and doorways animated by food stands offering typical Trentino dishes: from classic canederli to succulent main courses, to delicious desserts. The undisputed stars will be the roasted chestnuts, to be enjoyed with excellent drinks.

The village courtyards will be transformed into showcases of local products, coming directly from the Brentonico plateau and the Vallagarina. There will also be recreational activities for children and musical entertainment to brighten the party.

To comfortably reach Castione, a free shuttle bus service will be active from Brentonico and Mori. For the more adventurous, it is possible to reach the village on foot, following a section of the Cammino di San Rocco.

A unique opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of Monte Baldo and the warm welcome of Castione, a few kilometers from Rovereto.
