Cinema Estate in Riva del Garda: the charm of silent film under the stars

The courtyard of the Rocca in Riva del Garda prepares to host a sensory experience of rare elegance. From August 3rd to 17th, the Cinema Estate festival brings the magic of silent film back to life, transforming one of the most evocative settings in the Garda Trentino area into an open-air theater.

Curated by the La Firma cultural center in collaboration with the Municipality, the festival offers three evening events starting at 9:30 PM. The program is a tribute to the history of cinema, where great classics find a new voice through live musical accompaniment. The series begins on August 3rd with F.W. Murnau’s Sunrise, followed on August 10th by a tribute to the Laurel and Hardy centenary, and concludes on August 17th with a precious selection of historical views of our region. Admission is free, offering visitors and locals the opportunity to immerse themselves in the poetry of moving images within a setting of incomparable beauty.
