On August 20th, Malcesine unveils its most authentic side through an immersive experience bridging nature and history. An environmental guide will lead participants along a four-kilometer route, winding through ancient olive groves and traditional wayside shrines that stand as silent guardians of local culture.

With a positive elevation gain of 240 meters, this trail is designed to offer a unique perspective on the Mediterranean landscape that frames the lake. Throughout the walk, which lasts approximately one hour and 45 minutes, you will explore the history of olive cultivation and the natural characteristics of the region. The excursion is accessible to everyone, requiring no special hiking skills, making it an ideal moment to connect with the landscape.

The meeting point is at the IAT office or the San Michele intermediate station. Suitable clothing is recommended, including sturdy footwear, sun protection, and water.
