FAI Summer Evenings at Avio Castle: a journey through history and art

Avio Castle, a majestic fortress overlooking the Vallagarina valley, opens its doors for the FAI Summer Evenings. From June to August, every Saturday, the castle comes alive with guided tours and extraordinary openings, offering a unique experience of history, art, and nature.

Located on a spur of Monte Vignola, this ancient Trentino castle holds centuries of history. Donated to the FAI in 1977, Avio Castle is not only a strategic fortification complex but also a treasure trove of lush gardens and Giotto-inspired pictorial cycles.
