Ferragosto in Vallagarina: A Summer of Events Between Rovereto and Brentonico

Vallagarina comes alive for Ferragosto (August 15th) with a rich calendar of events celebrating tradition, culture, and well-being. From August 8th to 17th, 2026, immerse yourself in traditional festivals, dinners under the stars, and workshops surrounded by nature.

On Friday, August 8th, the Rifugio Baita Fo-sce in Brentonico hosts Ensemble Neuma with a twilight concert. On Saturday, August 9th, Forte Pozzacchio in Trambileno lights up with “Calice al Forte Pozzacchio,” an evening of wine and music. In San Valentino di Brentonico, a guided hike will lead you through the pastures of Monte Baldo under the full moon. Rovereto reveals itself with “Il Chilometro delle Meraviglie,” an evening urban trek. The FAI Castello di Avio opens its doors for “La notte di San Lorenzo,” a magical evening under the stars.

The week continues with events such as “Sorsi di Natura” at Lago di Loppio in Mori, concerts in Sega di Ala, and the Festa dell’Assunta in Villa Lagarina. Don’t miss the inauguration of the Vallarsa Kneipp Valley and guided tours of the Botanical Garden of Brentonico. On Ferragosto, Brentonico hosts “Baldo Bio Benessere,” a market exhibition dedicated to organic products and well-being. In Sega di Ala, “I Giorni di San Rocco” are celebrated, a village festival with cultural traditions and entertainment.
