Giacomo Balla – The Style of the Avant-Garde at Mart Rovereto

The Mart in Rovereto hosts the exhibition “Giacomo Balla – The Style of the Avant-Garde,” showcasing one of the world’s most significant private monographic collections. The exhibition features works by Giacomo Balla from the Laura Biagiotti Collection and the Biagiotti Cigna Foundation.

The exhibition is organized into five thematic sections: Divisionism, Futurism, Futurist Fashion, Futurist Reconstruction of the Universe, and A New Modern Figuration. Through 240 works, including paintings, drawings, furniture, objects, and clothing, visitors can explore the evolution of the artist’s creative thought, including the colorful Genio Futurista, the largest work ever created by Balla. Curated by Beatrice Avanzi and Fabio Benzi with the support of Laura Biagiotti, this project celebrates the visionary force that shaped the dawn of Italian modernity.

The exhibition runs from May 16, 2026, to October 18, 2026. Opening hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Extraordinary openings are available. Full price tickets are 15 Euros, reduced tickets are 10 Euros, and admission is free for members, children under 15, and people with disabilities.
