Guided Tours of Ala, the City of Velvet: A Journey Through Time

Immerse yourself in the 18th-century atmosphere with guided tours of Ala, the elegant Trentino town awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club. The Vellutai Cultural Association will lead you to discover Ala, with costumed figures animating the historic centre.

Walking through the streets of Ala, you can breathe in an atmosphere of yesteryear, among stately palaces and hidden courtyards. The tours, lasting an hour and a half, culminate with a tasting of local wines and products at Parco Pizzini.

**Guided Tour Schedule:**

* **June 19th:** Event dedicated to families with the “Vellutini”. Tasting of Spumante Rosè, Trentino Marzemino and apple juice, accompanied by a platter of local cheeses and cured meats.
* **August 21st:** Tasting of Chardonnay 2019 and Lagrein 2016, paired with taralli and seasonal apples.
* **September 18th:** Tasting of Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nero Rosato and Marzemino.
* **October 16th:** Tasting of Trento Doc “Clè”, Gewürztraminer “Crosano” and Foja Tonda, accompanied by breadsticks.

**Useful Information:**

* The tours will take place even in bad weather.
* Reservations are required by 4 PM on the Saturday before the activity.
* Cost: 15 euros per person.
* Meeting point: Piazza San Giovanni in Ala (in front of the Town Hall).
