Ice in the Heart: A Photographic Exhibition Celebrates the History of Skating on the Piné Plateau

The heart of the Piné Plateau beats on ice, a mirror of traditions and passions that have been reflected for generations. The “Ice in the Heart” exhibition is a vibrant tribute to skating, a symbolic sport of this land, narrated through the most evocative images taken from the volume “Ice in the Heart – il Ghiaccio nel cuore, 1946 – Now”.

A visual journey that traces the history of ice on the Piné Plateau, celebrating local champions and a tradition that continues to fuel the dreams of new generations of athletes. The photographs, signed by Arch. Roberto Sighel, Ph Pierluigi Bernardi, Arch. Tullio Tomasi, Arch. Mariano Dallapiccola, Ph Alberto Moser, Ph Faganello, Ph Svaldi and Arch. Renzo Ceno, capture moments of pure emotion and sportsmanship.

The exhibition is hosted at the Biblioteca LAC Via del Lido 2/a in Baselga di Piné and will be open from February 6 to March 15, with the following opening hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 18:30. An opportunity to immerse yourself in the history and passion of a sport that has marked the identity of a territory.
