International Dry Stone Art Festival in the Leno Valleys

Immerse yourself in the ancient art of dry stone walling in the Leno Valleys, an event celebrating craftsmanship and tradition within a breathtaking landscape. The festival, taking place across Terragnolo, Trambileno, and Vallarsa, offers a rich program of activities from June 17th to August 6th, 2023.

You can admire the photographic exhibition “Maestri – Manufatti – Paesaggi” (Masters – Artefacts – Landscapes) at the Antica Segheria Veneziana (Old Venetian Sawmill), attend “Balancing Stones” lessons with Andrea Mei, and participate in the international dry stone wall construction competition in the hamlet of Geroli. There will also be artisan embroidery exhibitions, displays of seeds and biodiversity, and workshops to learn the art of balancing stones.

A unique opportunity to discover local traditions, with a special focus on “Women of the Mountains”, and to explore the natural beauty of Rovereto and the Leno Valleys. The event concludes with the awards ceremony for participating teams and the festival’s closing in the hamlet of Geroli.
