The month that flings open the doors to summer is a proper whirlwind of events, festivals, and happenings, livening up villages and towns and offering a jam-packed calendar for every taste. Whether you’re into music, sport, good food, or historical re-enactments, Garda’s waiting for you with a contagious energy.

Here’s a taster of the unmissable events set to light up Lake Garda and its surroundings in June 2025:

La 5 miglia del Ghiottone, the gourmet’s gallop: a foodie walk in Tremosine (2nd June 2025)

What it is: A food and wine walking event happening on 2nd June 2025 in Tremosine sul Garda (back after a break since 2019). Enjoy a multi-stop stroll through scenic paths and villages, with tastings of local traditional dishes paired with different wines at each stop.

The Route: Winds through Tremosine’s hamlets (starting in Vesio) with an opening aperitif and stops for starters, tortei pasta with formagella cheese, fried lake fish, lemon sorbet, lucanica sausage with sauerkraut, grilled formagella, pandolce sweet bread, and a final coffee.

Good to Know:

  • It’ll go ahead even if it’s raining.
  • Not recommended for pushchairs.
  • Dogs allowed but must be on a lead and wear a muzzle (owners are responsible).
  • Staggered start times from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm from Vesio (La Pertica area).
  • Maximum of 600 people can take part.
