La Magnalonga dell’Alta Vallagarina: a food and wine experience in the vineyards of Rovereto

Immerse yourself in the heart of Vallagarina with the Magnalonga, a food and wine walk that celebrates the authentic flavors of Trentino. On Sunday, September 7, 2025, this long-standing event reaches its 27th edition, inviting you to discover a new itinerary between Calliano and Besenello, with a fascinating theme: “A fortress of flavors”.

The approximately 8 km route winds through lush vineyards and picturesque villages, culminating in the majestic Castel Beseno, the largest fortification in Trentino, which will serve as the setting for one of the refreshment stops. Along the way, nine stops will delight your palate with local specialties, accompanied by fine wines from the area. From polenta concia to Trentino doc Muller Thurgau, from strangolapreti with melted butter to Igp rosato Dolomiti, every taste is an explosion of flavor.

There will be attractions, entertainment and craft exhibitions to enrich the experience. The route, mainly unpaved, requires sportswear and comfortable shoes. Four-legged friends are welcome, as long as they are kept on a leash. For the little ones, it is advisable to use backpacks.
