On July 18, 2026, the Piné Plateau becomes the stage for a test of pure endurance. Trento and its surrounding valleys host the fifth edition of the Lagorai Mountain Race – Vertikal Edition, an event that honors the memory of Tommaso Mattivi through mountain sports.
The race’s new format introduces a vertical climb from Regnana, in the municipality of Bedollo, leading athletes to the summit of Monte Ruioch. This course demands not only physical preparation but also a deep connection with the rugged paths of the Lagorai mountain range. The organizers’ decision to schedule the event in the early morning hours reflects the caution required when operating in such a magnificent and unpredictable natural environment.
