Monte Baldo Bike: A Two-Wheeled Adventure in the Botanical Garden of Europe

Immerse yourself in the unspoiled nature of Monte Baldo with the Monte Baldo Bike, an exhilarating competition winding through the trails of the “Botanical Garden of Europe.” Located in Dossioli, Avio, the event will take place on July 1st and 2nd, 2023, offering two days of sport, fun, and exploration of the area.

The race, part of the Trentino MTB Circuit, spans 36 km with a 1400-meter elevation gain, presenting a compelling challenge for mountain biking enthusiasts. But it’s not just a competition: the Monte Baldo Bike is an opportunity to learn about and appreciate the natural features of Monte Baldo, famous for its rich flora.

The programme includes entertainment for all ages, with children’s games, magic shows, snacks featuring local products at educational farms, guided tours of mountain huts, and themed dinners. Saturday will be dedicated to the II° Trofeo Cassa Rurale Vallagarina for the Beginners and Students categories, while Sunday will host the E-Monte Baldo Bike, open to all electric bike and helmet owners. A unique opportunity to experience the mountain in a sustainable and fun way.

The event is organised by S.C. Avio in collaboration with the Tourism Board of Rovereto Vallagarina and Monte Baldo, with the aim of promoting the area and its excellence. An open invitation to all to discover the wonders of Monte Baldo, a place where nature reigns supreme and offers endless opportunities for outdoor activities. Think of it as the Italian equivalent of tackling a fell run in the Lake District, but with added Italian flair.
