The heart of Castelnuovo del Garda is preparing to host a cultural event of significant prestige. From August 7th to 9th, the charming Brolo delle Melanie will serve as the natural stage for the debut edition of MusicalBrolo, a festival dedicated to exploring the sophisticated nuances of funk, swing, latin, and soul music.
The opening on Friday, August 7th, features the Soul Trio, enhanced by the voice of Chiara Luppi and the trumpet talents of Gianluca Carollo, offering a tribute to the 1970s soundscapes of Detroit and Memphis. The Saturday, August 8th performance serves as the highlight, featuring the iconic Italian funk band Dirotta su Cuba. Led by Simona Bencini, they will present their Into the Gruv tour, blending reimagined arrangements with powerful percussion. The festival concludes on Sunday, August 9th, with Mauro Ottolini’s Orchestra Ottovolante, delivering a refined jazz-swing homage to post-war Italian music.
