Open Palaces in Rovereto and Vallagarina: A Journey Through History and Art

From September 5th to 19th, Vallagarina transforms into a stage of history and art with “Open Palaces”. Over 70 Trentino municipalities open the doors of their historical buildings, usually inaccessible, offering a unique opportunity to rediscover the local cultural heritage.

The program is full of events: in Rovereto, explore the creative city with its artisan workshops, discover the spaces of history, creativity and science of the university in the palace, and visit Casa Rosmini, immersing yourself in the creative flair of its inhabitants. There are also graphic art workshops and urban trekking to admire the wonders of the city.

In Brentonico, you can discover the treasures of the Orto dei semplici and the Botanical Garden. In Villa Lagarina, admire the modern mark of Adalberto Libera. And in Ala, visit the districts of water and the church of San Pietro in Bosco, followed by a visit to the exhibition “Flair and elegance. Fashionable fabrics in the eighteenth century”.

“Open Palaces” is an invitation to become “tourist citizens”, rediscovering the beauty and history of Trentino with new eyes.
