Palazzo del Bene Reopens in Rovereto: A Restored Gem

On December 3, 2022, Rovereto celebrated the reopening of Palazzo del Bene, a historical building restored to its former glory through meticulous renovation. The Caritro Foundation opened the doors of this palazzo to the community, offering an inaugural day full of events. The day began with an introductory address by architects Mauro Sommadossi and Giovanni Dellantonio (Superintendency for Cultural Heritage PAT), along with Bronzini Restauri, who explained the details of the restoration. Following this, various artistic performances curated by ArteA and the Rovereto Philharmonic Association animated the palazzo’s halls. Children were able to participate in creative workshops, making Christmas decorations for the Caritro Foundation’s tree. The Palazzo remained open for free and unrestricted visits until 6:00 PM, offering everyone the opportunity to admire this architectural treasure. A unique occasion to rediscover a piece of history and art in the heart of Rovereto, reminiscent of a ‘Heritage Open Day’.
