Rediscovering Rovereto: A Journey Through Art, History and Architecture

Immerse yourself in the history and art of Rovereto, Trentino’s avant-garde city. This guided tour will take you through the centuries, starting from the enlightened Rovereto of the 18th century to the bold architecture of the Mart, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto.

The itinerary begins in piazza Rosmini, the beating heart of the city, and then winds along the avenue that houses the works of Ambrogio Rosmini. You will admire Palazzo Fedrigotti, the Teatro Zandonai, Palazzo dell’Istruzione, Palazzo dell’Annona and Palazzo Alberti Poja, architectural gems that tell the story of Rovereto in the Age of Enlightenment.

The tour culminates at the Mart, where you can admire the glass and steel dome designed by Mario Botta and continue the visit on your own, exploring the museum’s rich collections. An unmissable opportunity to discover the modern and contemporary face of Rovereto, the birthplace of illustrious figures such as Antonio and Ambrogio Rosmini and Riccardo Zandonai. * Cost: 6 euros (reduced 4 euros for Museum Pass and Trentino Guest Card holders). Free for children up to 10 years.
* Every two participants with an entrance ticket to one of the museums in Rovereto, a guided tour is free.
* Participants are required to bring a face mask and comply with social distancing rules.
