Regards de l’âme: Gazes into the Soul in Rovereto

The photographic exhibition “Regards de l’âme – sguardi dell’anima” (Gazes of the Soul) offers a profound immersion into the human spirit through the lenses of Lara Campostrini and Angelo Benedetti. Hosted at the cultural and museum hub of the Biblioteca Civica G. Tartarotti in Rovereto, this showcase, curated by Luca Chistè, presents two unique perspectives converging in an exploration of the human condition.

Angelo Benedetti, with his visual journey “SS. 309 | ROMEA”, adopts a narrative-documentary approach, capturing places laden with silence and lyricism, metaphors for his own feelings. Lara Campostrini, on the other hand, focuses on an introspective matrix with “R_umore”, a series of photographic experiments illuminated by a dense, sharp light, a psychological space for self-representation.

Both artists mediate between the need to narrate and the desire to allow space for the viewer’s interpretation, inviting an intimate and personal reflection. The exhibition, sponsored by the Municipality of Rovereto and the Comunità della Vallagarina, opened on November 5th and remains open until the end of the month. It’s an opportunity to discover how two different gazes can reveal the essence of the human soul.
