Reliving the Moon Landing: A Space Exhibition in Rovereto

Relive the epic conquest of the Moon at the Fondazione Museo Civico in Rovereto. Fifty years after the first lunar landing, this immersive exhibition celebrates not only the technological achievement but also the audacious vision of an interstellar future.

Through augmented reality and engaging projections, the exhibition retraces the Apollo missions and the space race between the United States and the Soviet Union. Admire original memorabilia, spacesuits, and historical documents that narrate the thrilling race to space.

Experience firsthand the vertigo of the first spacewalk with virtual reality, launch towards the Moon aboard the Saturn V, and discover the challenges of life on the International Space Station (ISS), a human outpost in the cosmos.

A special attraction is the functioning replica of the Lunar Rover, the vehicle that allowed the Apollo 15 astronauts to explore the lunar soil. Reconstructed by Marangoni of Rovereto according to NASA designs, this vehicle is a testament to human ingenuity.
