The traditional Sagra dei Sparasi of Mambrotta returns to San Martino Buon Albergo from April 22nd to May 3rd, 2026. Two weeks dedicated to asparagus, a typical product that makes the hamlet of Mambrotta famous throughout the province of Verona. The event is an opportunity for celebration and gathering to taste the authentic flavors of this land together.
Asparagus cultivation in Mambrotta has deep roots, dating back to the end of the 19th century. However, it was only after the war that it took on significant cultural importance, when some farmers began to exploit this valuable vegetable as a cash crop, creating the first real asparagus farms.
