Santa Caterina Fair in Rovereto: A Village in Celebration

The Santa Caterina Fair in Rovereto is one of the oldest events in Trentino, a tradition that continues to thrive in the heart of the village of the same name. On November 23rd, the Borgo Santa Caterina transforms, welcoming winter with market stalls, shows, and special gatherings. This year, the fair offers a rich program of initiatives and guided tasting workshops, thanks to the collaboration with the Wine and Flavors Route of Trentino and the Civic Museum of Rovereto.

The program includes:

* 8:00 AM: Opening of the fair with over 100 market stalls.
* 10:30 AM: Puppet show by Luciano Gottardi.
* 10:30 AM, Museum of Science and Archeology: Tasting workshop “Honey and Territory. Dialogues between botany and taste” (reservation recommended).
* From 11:00 AM: Free distribution of chestnuts by the Association for the Protection of Chestnuts of Castione.
* 2:30 PM, Museum of Science and Archeology: Meeting dedicated to wine “Science under the vineyard” (reservation recommended).
* 3:00 PM: Concert by the “Blue sax ensemble”.
* 4:30 PM, Museum of Science and Archeology: Sensory experience “Taste of the forest. Experience with chestnuts, wine, and botany” (reservation recommended).

The Scout Group will also be present in the village with cakes and mulled wine, the Italian Red Cross, the Tabita Association, and the volunteers of the Parish S. Floriano di Lizzana. Car and motorcycle exhibition in Via Dante and Via Tartarotti. An opportunity to immerse yourself in the history and traditions of Rovereto.
