The joy of discussing books in English finds a new dimension in Sirmione. The well-established reading group is expanding its activities with the launch of the English Cafè, an initiative designed to foster spontaneous sharing of literary passions in a relaxed, social setting.
While traditional meetings, coordinated by Rosemary Williamson, Rosalind Rabbitt, and Ann Davies, continue on an alternating monthly basis at the Public Library, the new English Cafè format takes place during even months. On the second Thursday of these months, the club moves to a more informal venue, turning a local bar into a literary salon where members can freely discuss books they have read, share ideas, and suggest new titles to explore.
