Sustainable Textile Design Workshop in Rovereto

A unique opportunity awaits young creatives in Rovereto: a sustainable textile design workshop, led by fashion designer Marcella Pozza. The event, part of the Piazza della Seta project, will be held at the Ala Library and its garden, offering a practical introduction to the art of design for young professionals and enthusiasts.

On July 5th and 7th, from 6 PM to 8 PM, participants will have the opportunity to use small looms and strips of reused fabric to create original textile artifacts. The initiative, which takes place during Ala – Città di Velluto, invites each participant to bring a piece of clothing from home, such as a t-shirt, to directly experience the techniques learned.

This workshop is not only an opportunity to acquire textile skills, but also a moment of sharing and reflection on the value of reuse and craftsmanship. With a maximum of 20 participants per day, divided into groups of 10, the experience promises to be intense and personalized. The event is free upon reservation, offering an unmissable opportunity to explore new forms of artistic expression and contribute to the preservation of Ala’s textile tradition in a modern and sustainable way.
