From July 16th to 19th, 2026, Lazise revives one of its most defining cultural events. The Cadenon Greasy Pole (Palo della Cuccagna) celebrates its 90th edition this year, turning the Old Port into a stage for skill and folklore. The festival is deeply rooted in the medieval history of the village, commemorating the heavy chain that once protected the harbor from invaders.
The highlight takes place on Saturday, July 18th, at 9:30 PM. Participants will test their agility on an eight-meter pole, heavily greased and suspended horizontally over the lake waters.
