Here, intrepid participants will chase a five-kilogram cheese wheel down steep inclines that test balance and courage. The event unfolds over two days packed with activities. Sunday will see the culmination of the celebrations with the “Vertical Cheese Rolling,” an uphill climb on the steep slope, and of course, the 14th Italian Cheese Rolling Championship, where finalists will vie for the coveted title. Completing the picture, a light-hearted beer and sausage competition will add a touch of cheer and local flavor to the day.
