The Song of the Earth: a festival of science, art and civic engagement in Rovereto

In Rovereto, from October 4th to November 10th, 2026, the international festival “The Song of the Earth” will take place, an event dedicated to environmental sustainability and the climate crisis. Born from the desire to protect the mountain environment, the festival combines science, art and civic engagement to address the challenges of our time.

The program is full of events: conferences, interactive workshops, art exhibitions and concrete actions in the area. It starts on October 4th with an excursion on Monte Zugna, in collaboration with the SAT of Vallarsa, to discuss mountains and climate. In the following days, there will be screenings of documentaries, theatrical performances, book presentations and inaugurations of exhibitions. Among the main events, we point out the show “Fango” by Mara Moschini and Marco Cortesi, and the talk by Alessandra Viola on the rights of plants as a tool to combat climate change.

There will also be workshops for children and teenagers, dedicated to the discovery of glaciers and the creation of sustainable works of art. An opportunity to participate, reflect and act together for a more equitable and respectful future for the planet.
