The Track: A coming-of-age film about Olympic dreams in Trento

The Multisala G. Modena in Trento hosts the screening of “The Track” by Ryan Sidhoo on March 8th at 8:30 PM. This 2025 film, lasting 91 minutes, tells a coming-of-age story set in post-war Bosnia.

We follow the story of three teenagers, Mirza, Zlatan, and Hamza, as they pursue their Olympic dreams. Training on a ruined sled track, a vestige of the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Games, the boys are guided by their coach, Senad.

The screening will be introduced by Mauro Gervasini and followed by a dialogue with Diego Decarli and former Italian national sledders Walter Plaikner and Maria-Luise Rainer.

All screenings are in the original language with subtitles in Italian (and, in this case, also in English) for foreign films. Admission costs €5, with advance sales available at cineworld.18tickets.it. For matinées at Harpolab and Centro Congressi Pinè 1000, admission is free.
