The Valgatara Festival: An Authentic Gathering in the Heart of Valpolicella

From Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 June 2026, the Valgatara sports facilities will come alive with the traditional Sagra di Valgatara, an event celebrating the vitality and authentic flavours of this region. It is an opportunity to immerse oneself in local traditions, enjoy good company, and discover the warmth of a community.

The food stands, open every evening, will offer a journey through the delights of local cuisine, expertly prepared for the occasion. Valpolicella is a land rich in excellent food and wine, and the festival is a true expression of this, inviting visitors to a conscious and respectful tasting of local produce.

The musical programme has been designed to appeal to various tastes. On Thursday evening, FestiValpoRock will showcase emerging talents from the “Giovani Musici della Valpolicella” Music School. On Friday, a DJ set will liven up the evening, while Saturday will feature the PerBacco Band with their tribute to Zucchero. On Sunday, I Guastafestival will conclude the musical lineup, ensuring an atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie.

The festival is also a moment for gathering and sport. On Saturday afternoon, the community’s Holy Mass will take place, a gesture of unity and reflection. On Sunday, the Real Valpolicella FC’s Pre-Summer Fest will bring the energy of football with morning and afternoon tournaments, transforming the sports facilities into a lively hub of activity. An invitation to experience Valgatara with a spirit of festivity and authenticity.
